Easter is a time of re-birth. Just when we thought Winter was never going to end - the light has returned and we realise it was just a phase. A part of a bigger cycle.
The commission to re-cover the lampshade in the video just coincided with this magical time of the year so I dubbed it 'my Easter Egg'. The silk dupion I used has a wonderful lustre and shines no matter what the weather. The job involves many hours of couture work but it's worth it to have such a lovely shape to admire.
